Here's a pretty hilarious list of quotes on what kids have said about marriage.
What are some of the funniest things your kids have said to you?
My younger son (now 2 years and 8 months) pointed to our wedding photo a few days ago and said "äiti, minä haluu naimissii" ("mommy, I want get married").
Wishing you all a Monday full of memorable moments!

Thanks for sharing. I think one of the greatest gifts about having kids is that they come up with these amazing insights, and share them. Not only the "why" questions, which make you think about life in the most random ways (we are currently going through a phase of "why would an alligator not come into our house?" "why would a lion not come into our home?" "what would we do if there is a snake in our room"?), but also statements about wishes and observations. Our son (3.5y) is currently obsessed with the idea that he wants to become a "mommy". At first he found my response comforting that "he can become whatever he wants to be". He now decided he wants to become a mommy "right now". I observe these statements with absolute awe. This little person is discovering identity, and testing where boundaries are - physical and socialized. It's somehow beautiful and comforting, to see how open children are to the world at this age - where barriers do not yet mean anything.
